The Dailylife Wife is off on a cruise to Bermuda with her sister and a couple of cousins. I am eating healthy out back on the deck. It hit 80!

I picked up my brother Dennis in Lincoln and we drive up to Kalispell together to see the Dailylife Dad.
The rehab place is called The Retreat.
Once we got in the room, we had a Facetime video call with my sister Deyanne.
An “environmental” portrait.
The next day Dad was moved into the assisted living apartment with Sarah. I understand it is an interesting situation.

Today in my 65th Birthday! The Dailylife Wife got me a new ice tea maker (iced coffee too, apparently). My old Mr. Coffee, which I got pretty close to 30 years ago or a couple more, is getting a little long in the tooth: the pitcher has some tape reinforcement on the handle and Sharpie markings for ice and water. A faithful appliance that I have just plain wore out. If this one lasts that long, it will accompany me to the old folks home!
Thanks!

Most folks know I love to ride (or will again soon…) my 1995 Honda Goldwing motorcycle. To change my air filter takes removing seven body parts, including the radio!
I have it on good authority (the man writing maintenance videos!) that the first generation of 1800 Goldwing was worse.
Now there is a whole new second generation of 1800! And as Cruiseman, the video guy above said, he didn’t know it was possible to make it harder to change the air filter, but those brilliant engineers at Honda did it!
So if old Mr. Honda, or any of his engineers are watching, here is how I change the air filter on my Ford F-150:
1) Open the hood
I am open to testing the next generation of Goldwing with the sensible maintenance procedure! I am waiting for the call, Mr. Honda!
