My neighbor came by and alerted me to a fun and exciting time on our street: a semi had taken out a power pole!

In this two photo panorama you can see the power pole in the intersection, the stump of a pole that is left, and the powerline laying in the street to the right of our trailer.

They took down the no longer connected part of the line from our street light.

This is a closeup of the powerpole stump…I have no idea what the semi was doing to preak it…it is a long way from the corner! This is looking back towards my house.
