Day 230

My truck FITS in the garage, but there is about two inches on each end. You have to get out of the driver’s side before you close the garage door. All closed up! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 229

After the two fires I had an unremarkable drive hime.  The DD#1 brought me a pulled pork sandwich for dinner and said we were going to get some significant hail, and that I ought to pull the truck into the garage.  It got windy and the rain started coming down! Here is a cellphone panorama […]

Day 228

When I was south of Seeley Lake, just a couple miles shy of Clearwater Junction, I past two fires.  The first one was still very small and smokey, but there was no where to stop to photograph it.  This is the second fire, perhaps half a mile south of the first one. After I turned […]

Day 190

On a not-so-quick trip to Idaho Falls for Avis: rain clouds at the end of Elk Park heading into Butte. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 188

Coming back from a LOOONG trip to Idaho Falls for Avis: I melted a car engine in Helena!  Anyway, there was a really nice rainbow when we got close to home. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 174

A big thunder boomer cloud!  From down by the River! And a different view over Malmstrom AFB. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 169

I will catch up soon, but in the meantime, here is a Thunder Boomer Cloud! (Cellphone Panorama!  Click to see it large; BACK to return!) An “artifact” of the panorama process…from the left side of the photo! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 162

I made an Avis run to Kalispell.  Here is the Southern end of Glacier National Park in a somewhat unmatched, two cellphone photo panorama. Click on it to see it larger: BACK to return here!   ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 129

A nice view to the North East, looking over Crooked Falls and down the River.  This is where you can get some really dramatic clouds sometimes.

Day 126

Proof I don’t only shoot ducks:  Here I shoot the US Air Force!  I think these maybe the last Hueys (UH-1) in the active Air Force.  They are set up for the altitudes and weather here to protect the Minuteman III’s. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>
