It rained all weekend, so the Dailylife Wife made a pot of her delicious chili. I reheated the last of it at lunch. After it heated the lid apparently made seal, because it was not tight on the bowl, and then the contents began to cool slightly.

Election Day! Yesterday ( the 1st) I couldn’t get the coffee shop door open. I had to look to make sure it wasn’t closed! Today, they fixed the sticky door. Sort of.

And gratuitous trains, because…trains!

!!!Happy Graduation!!!

Grandson Lugnut has graduated from High School! At times we honestly thought it would never happen, but he did it! So here are a few photos from the small party we held in the backyard. Lots of people came and went because they had more than one party to go to.

There was an on going water balloon fight during much of the festivities…I hate to think what it might have been if the day was hot and sunny!

Some pretty good grub, cooked by the DD#1! And she brought some Sam’s Club beans baked with brisket…YUM!

So on to the Grad himself. He knew his new Macbook Neo was coming; he got to help pick it out. And a nice big towel for Scout Camp.

But there is more.

What the…

He really wasn’t expecting this.

A .22 revolver. It is nice when the surprise works out.

All in all a pretty Happy Grad, who hopes to spend most of the summer helping at the rifle range at Scout Camp (K-M)!
