Day 322

Kingman, Arizona: the price of gas: $4.09.9! In fairness if I could have shopped around I could have found it up to $0.25 cheaper, but there were wall-to-wall semis and a few other cars preventing me from getting to the cheap(er) stations.  I took the station I could get into and then out of and […]

Day 321

Looking both ways in Utah! The new Trailer has a rear view camera.  It is incredibly helpful in not cutting off the people and vehicles you pass.  It is suppose to go to an app on my Android Stereo, but it won’t work.  It does work on my iPad… ~Curtis in /\/\onTana!

Day 315

I made a quick trip to Kalispell to see the Dailylife Dad and Mom!  Famous Dave’s (a no-show in Grff’ls) is always good if you can get there BEFORE the bus load or two of high schoolers… Dad took me out for breakfast both mornings.  This was the second one.  It was healthy: I also […]

Day 314

I am movin’ on up!  I now have a dashcam in Big Red.  Those dots are the sunscreen at the top of the windshield…hey, I have a new windshield too!  No scratches, cracks or chips!  Yet… To help out with the installation,  I got a 130 piece tool set from Harbor Freight.  Actually, I have […]

Day 296

The Dailylife Wife did not like this mooching Raven at lunch. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 295

We stopped for lunch in the north end of the Hayden Valley.  There were a couple of bison out there somewhere.  We were going to go on to Fishing Bridge and maybe back via Old Faithful, but there was a serious accident at the Sulpher Cauldron, and it was a four to five hour wait… […]

Day 279

A brief respite from Yellowstone: the trip to Yellowstone Nat’l Park was a familiarization jaunt for us in our new 2022 Alpha Wolf Cherokee Bunkhouse trailer.  This is the view from the road into the Yellowstone RV Park in Gardiner, MT, near Mammoth Hot Springs,  YNP’s HQ.  We highly recommend Yellowstone RV Park! One of […]

Day 267

A short vacation in Yellowstone…Old Red! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 239

My good ‘ol truck.  You can’t see the dirt since the last carwash… ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 180

A little ways over Rogers Pass (on the west side) I found these guys.  They had just crossed the road.  They were by the guardrail when I was stopping.  I guess they don’t like big red trucks… Here is abetter view.  There are lots of elk up there, but see a herd like this is […]
