A brief respite from Yellowstone: the trip to Yellowstone Nat’l Park was a familiarization jaunt for us in our new 2022 Alpha Wolf Cherokee Bunkhouse trailer. This is the view from the road into the Yellowstone RV Park in Gardiner, MT, near Mammoth Hot Springs, YNP’s HQ. We highly recommend Yellowstone RV Park!
One of the highlights of this trailer is the installed backup camera. Here is a still of the Yellowstone River behind our site. NOT extremely hi def…but better than guessing by shadows if you are past someone before you pull back in front of them!
Better views of it in our driveway. It is suppose to only be a foot longer than our old one, but I am dubious of that. However it pulls nicely with Old Red, my ’08 F150, and we got much better gas mileage than we used to…9.9MPG for one section!
Here is the slide out. It holds both a small couch AND a six person dinette!
The power jack and electric stabilizers make setting up and taking down camp a lot easier!
