Day 32

I was searching for a residence in Lolo Thursday and I found some ponds.  I grabbed a couple quick photos of the ducks with my Nikon P7100, and once I got home and had time to look at them there were a couple of new ones to me.  I believe the two on the far […]

Day 31

The old Northern Pacific Railroad used to run up Evaro Hill outside of Missoula.  It is now part of Montana Rail Link.  This trestle is visible from US Highway 93 near the base of Evaro Hill.  As kids we used to strain to see who would see it first as we came up the road. […]

Day 28

The Dailylife Great Grandparent’s took me to dinner at Applebee’s.  Four cheese Mac ‘n Cheese with Honey chicken Tenders and Applewood Bacon.  The garlic bread stick did not go with the otherwise excellent meal.  The tomato Basil soup before this was good too! Day 21

This is a repost from Day 290, 2009.  I took this down near Corvallis, Montana, and I was adjusting it for a photo in a class on low light photography I am giving to the camera club.  A simple levels adjustment and this is way better than what I posted before! (30s f/4.5 ISO800 17mm […]

Another January Bonus!

The full Moon rising over Missoula Thursday evening. (1/250s f/6.7 ISO500 300mm Canon 7D) ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 17

On the south side of Polson is the Miracle of America Museum. (All photos: P7100) The ultimate collection of military surplus and assorted…junk. And Big Tonka Toys. This is where the Paul Bunyan ended up. And old helicopters… Someday I will actually go inside! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>
