Day 183

But before everyone came up, I had to run down to Monarch to get some cell service.  This is the old Depot and a caboose. I am not sure of the depot is the original or if it has been moved… ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 176

I made a quick trip up to see the Dailylife StepMom.  She and I went to pick out the Dailylife Dad’s Marker.  Cheaper than we thought, only $1805 installed!  It will be ready in a couple of months. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 164: Dad’s Service

We went to Dad’s Service yesterday.  It was a nice drive up: here is Glacier National Park  via the Dailylife Wife’s phone. This is the DD#1’s family at the Duke house that was the home for Dad and Sarah for the last couple of years.  Sarah is selling it. My Stepbrother Doug and his wife […]

Day 131

I decide to play with my old Sigma 600mm Mirror Telephoto, with an Olympus OM film mount.  It is a bit soft, and the backgrounds tend to be a bit weird.  Rivers Edge Trail at the Rainbow Dam Overlook. Pods! The old combine. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 128

As I mentioned before the Dailylife Wife is off on a cruise to Martha’s Vineyard and Bermuda, with her sister and cousins. Some selfies and such while leaving from Newark, NJ. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 112

I found these at the Prestige assisted living where my StepMom is living now.  I would be able to spend many quiet afternoons binge reading Louis L’Amour! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 104

Going back a month or so it was flooding down on the Verde River.  The level of the water is right up to the edge of the parking area…six to eight foot higher than normal.  The place we stay is off to the lef, across the river and up the hill. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

No collusion here…great minds think alike!

A little history!

A stereoptic card from Yellowstone National Park’s Lone Star Geyser:  It is 3D if you can focus your eyes on the separate images! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 088!

On the Road Again!  Here is Old Town Cottonwood, looking as empty as I have ever seen it in the daytime! We took I17 to Flagstaff, and then US89 to Kanab, UT.  We could have followed US89 all the way home, except for the several mountain passes and ranges that are still snowed in. This […]
