This is the most it has ever cost me to fill up the truck. Of course the needle showed just under 1/4 tank…which means a lot with a 38 gallon tank!
While we all complain about the gas prices, they are only partly due to Trump’s actions against Iran, which I am all for because it is keeping us from getting nuked by them. That will ruin your day a lot more than high gas prices! Most of the high cost is the lack of refining capacity: Thanks A Lot Governor Newsum and “environmentalists”. Refineries are a long term investment, which no one will make if the next Administration will terminate it. And Putin: his war in the Ukraine has caused a drop in Russian diesel exports (the Ukrainians are blowing up the Russian refineries to impact the Russian army, which runs on diesel) so the demand and price for diesel is high and some refineries are emphasizing diesel over gasoline to make money. Adjusted for inflation, the gas prices most places are still lower than under Biden…but I am ready for them to come down anytime!
