Between the new industrial area, the heating plant at Malmstrom AFB and the grain elevators, you really don’t see as much train traffic as you would think.

There was a hooded Merganser have a crawdad for lunch.

I am not sure why the body is not sharp like the wings on either side.  Shooting ice and snow, and especially into the sun, is hard!

I decide the form on the one eagle in the first photo of a previous post (two posts below) was interesting.  I separated it out as a single bird.

A friend called and said he had seen some mysterious eagle out on the ice.

While I was watching someone was goose hunting on the other side of the River…Off they went!

A friend called and said he had seen some mysterious eagle out on the ice.  I found two.

With the light behind them it was difficult to get a good exposure with detail.  Silhouettes?  No problem!
