The Dailylife Wife and I went out to lunch at one of our favorite places: Calavera. Fine Mexican cuisine, with skeletons!
I had the Lunch #3, enchilada and burrito, shredded beef. And there was a LOT of shredded beef!
The Dailylife Wife decided to be chill about eating out, and had a non-spicy Taco Salad, with chicken. No distress!
Then came a nice afternoon of doing nothing, because we were both stuffed. As it started to get dark, the Northern Lights came on again! They were out due to the strongest solar storm in 25 years. I couldn’t see them here when I looked last night, but there were photos from Sedona (15 miles north) and Prescott (20 miles south over the mountain). So tonight it looked as good as last night on the Forecast site, so out I went. The red arrow is about where Clarkdale is.
Down below us on the road to Tuzigoot I got this faint image.
These two are from a Scenic View Point about 2/3rds of the way to Sedona.
I think if it is on again tomorrow night I will go up to the Scenic View Point a mile past Jerome, way up the mountain.
Meanwhile, back in Grfff’lls…it was cloudy last night, but not so tonight! This first one was taken by the Dailylife Daughter #1, IN TOWN, with STREETLIGHTS.
The next was the Dailylife Son-In-Law #1, probably out near Malmstrom AFB.
All the photos in this post were taken with cellphones. Cellphones do amazingly well at photographing Northern Lights and stars. So until tomorrow!
