Day 347

A big, full Moon came up over an almost clear Highwood Mountains tonight. A 100% crop. These two are the same photo, with one done in B&W. It/they is/are a 100% crop/s. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 309

Another one from Monday’s Super Moonrise. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 308

More of that Super Moon! *** ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 298

A somewhat wavery Moon.  The air seemed more unsettled the higher it got.  It is usually worst on the horizon.  I am going moon hunting with Walter and Ken tomorrow again!  {!-{> ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 297

Way behind…here is tonight’s super moon… I went out last night with Walter and Ken. It was a bust.  Too many clouds near the Highwood Mountains. But we met as the Camera Club up at the Airport tonight. Pretty good results! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 289

There was a full moon a couple of days ago… 1/1000s, f/5.6, ISO400, 300mm, 100% crop 1/750s, f/5.6, ISO100, 300mm, 100% crop 1/500s, f/8.0, ISO100, 400mm, about a 85-90% crop so it would fit on my computer screen! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 252

Back to Nevada City! A couple of my Milky Way photos. I think my sensor is getting old in my big camera.  There is getting to be lots of red dots that aren’t there!  At least on the long exposure in the dark photos…. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 238

The Camera Club went down to Nevada and Virginia Cities over the weekend.  The clouds cleared up Saturday night, and Toots took these photos of the Milky Way, and more… These were all then on the Canon M2, with a 22mm f2.0 lens. They were 20 to 30 second exposures, at ISO 6400. There was […]

Day 231

I went out a bit after dawn this morning, and the most notable thing I saw was the Moon!  The same Moon I missed a few days ago.  Now slightly past full, it never the less was a nice daylight image.  I have edited it here in four different ways.  This is the same image, […]

Day 230

The rest of the Perseid Meteor Shower.  Click a couple of times on each photo; BACK to return! On the bottom edge in the middle. Lower left corner. Just touching the top wire. The middle of the bottom wire. Just to the right of center. There are three in this photo.  One on the bottom […]
