We drove down past Kihei to look for snorkeling beaches one day.  This is a goodie, and people had seen turtles here, but ultimately we went to the next one up when we snorkeled.

Traffic ont he way home. Â It is the “high” season for tourists, and there is a lot more traffic than I recall from our previous, non-high season visit.
