Here are Toots and I leaving our Cabin to head to the museum in Nevada City.

Toots on the boardwalk leading to the Star Bakery and the Museum.

We got the museum and train ride for $14 each!
Toots investigated an early motion picture machine: it is a series of prints on index cards.  After you drop in a coin you crank it to make them flip and see the image move!  I wonder what risqué story is being told…some of them even let you see a lady’s ankle and knee!

This part of the museum is full of coin operated music machines: player pianos, organs, Wurlitzers; the guy that preserved Nevada City collected machines from all over the west!

Many of them are in need of maintenance…of course, they are well over 100 years old and have been in constant use for many of those years.

Then it is outside to the rest of the Nevada City!
