And the water is always breaking along the shore…

Day1334803

There was a trail maintenance party working up the hillside.Day1334804a

They are all volunteer and there are no roads on this side of the island.  They got a big “Mahalo” from everyone on the boat.

Day1334804b

That supremely rugged shoreline again…

Day1334805

On of the many, many waterfalls.  I would love to see the Na Pali Coast when it had been raining.  It looks like it might be one big waterfall!

Day1334806

Looking back the way we came.  We turned around at this point, so it is the way we were gong, too.

Day1334807

Then it was suppertime!  They put the boat under sail for a little while, but the winds we wrong for sailing back.  They also served dinner!  Cooked right on the Southern Star.  Big steaks and big shrimp!  With grilled Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes (the purple stuff), grill sliced potatoes, carrots, asparagus, salad, and booze!
