Happy New Year!

I am afraid that this new year will be a lot worse than the last one, and I do not mean the CCP Virus.  It is starting out with a battle over the election; not a good way to start a new year no matter which side really won.

I got to spend much of the day (well, an hour or two) installing, or reinstalling as the case may be, the tonneau cover they took off of my truck before I bought it.  It would have been at least an all day affair if my son-in-law Lugwrench had not come over to help me!  I still need to put a hasp and padlock on the back because the lock stuff was not included when I got the truck.

There is a shovel to prop the cover up to work on it; I have a longer one that holds it a lot higher! Only one of the struts works, and that is not sufficient to lift the cover by itself.  It looks pretty weather tight, though, and weighs enough that I will not worry about ballast for a while.
