Day 153: Cap’t Andy’s Cruise! Part 1…

Back on Kauai, we hopped aboard one of Cap’t Andy’s Sunset Dinner Cruises along the Napali Coast!  These other boats were pretty much like the one we were on.  Everyone left their shoes at the dock: this was a barefoot cruise!

We had to motor cling pretty fast to get down to the Napali Coast before dinner.

There are lots of old plantation and factory buildings in decay since pineapple and sugarcane production moved to Central America.

This four photo panorama shows the southern side of Kauai.  Just around the headland on the left is the start of the Napali Coast.  This is the Pacific Missile Testing Facility.

We had a nice little fleet sailing down the coast.

There was a lot to almost see at the Missile Facility!

An F22.

There could be a launch silo under that awning!

An assembly building?

A radar mount off the USS Missouri, with a high tech (and I am sure >>VERY<< expensive) radar!

A Whale.

One of our sister boats in our sunset fleet…wait…What?
