I was down on the river Sunday and there was a Loon acting very strange. Â It was kicking through the water, and twisting around and doing all sort of antics. Â It didn’t seem to have a hurt wing but was certainly twisting like it was. Â Then it would flap to dry everything off. Â I watched for close to an hour.

I thought I was seeing two smaller Loons in this photo, but something wasn’t quite right.

It is a Red-Breasted Merganzer! Â And the Mrs. in the photo above. Â I wasn’t able to get any closer photos of her.
