Day 290: Breakfast with the neighbors…

This is the morning edition of my campsite as I was packing to leave, just prior to taking the photos on Day 289.  The North Rim Campground has a 16×16 foot (or so) tent platform, filled with sand to make for a nice, soft base.  I think someone had a good idea, but missed a beat: come spring all that red sand will all be red concrete…

My neighbors, who I never got to share a beer with despite our best efforts, invited me to breakfast as we both were packing up to leave.

I brought the orange juice…I had way too big of a bottle, but it was real orange juice made from Valencia oranges.

Man it was good juice!

The big fry pan had our meal…

…sausage, eggs, peppers, onions, and lots of cheese (and maybe some other stuff; who knows!), all cooked down to a semi-solid state, then scooped into tortillas, with lots of Salsa!  Man was it GOOD!

Brian and Alicia Wise, of Alabama I think they said.

Yeah, Bill Engvall does sound a little like Brian…
