Day 120 (9 Apr 19 part 9): California Adventure

(Another day you didn’t think would end…but it will after the next post!)

Disney’s California Adventure!

After entering we find the California we found the Engine-Ears Toys shop, in a California Limited Train facade!  This observation car would make a great living room if it had the right view…don’t tell my wife!

The view from the front!

Then we ate at the Taste Pilots’ Grill.  They have pretty good ribs for a fairly cheap price, by Disney standards, anyway.  Here’s Toots making new friends!

Maybe the California Limited isn’t so much facade after all…

We don’t know what they do here, but it is the right place for a car-guy.

Here is an interesting looking mountain with geysers and rafts!

What a strange place California is: you can’t pack your shootin’ iron but look at the size of the bears!  This is the Grizzly River Raft Company.

Here is that mountain again, with an old mill.  There is something about mills and California…

A brief stretch…

Mickey’s Fun Wheel and behind the fence is a soon to be opened mermaid zoo or something for Ariel…

Paradise Pier Boardwalk and a recreation of Cannery Row in Old Monterey.

Next: A Bug’s Land!
