I am a couple days behind number wise, but the Daily Daughter #1 called on her way home tonight after Christmas Eve dinner and said there were lights over Malmstrom AFB. Â She wasn’t sure what they were.

The lights seemed in sync with a strobe flashing up into an ice fog cloud over the Base…

That pretty much eliminated the Northern Lights as a cause.

I think they were just reflections of the strobe in the cloud. Â This is an unedited photo, just resized.

Sorry for the low quality photos. Â It was -6F and I didn’t want to get out of the car to use a tripod! Â All were hand braced on the window’s edge.
