Day 222

I took a ride up to the Flathead to help celebrate the Dailylife Dad’s 87th…I found this guy attached to my seat when I filled up in Browning.  A close call for me!

(Nikon P7100, 100% crop!)

West of Browning near East Glacier the Park was in fine form.

A little further on was a closer view.

I met the Dailylife Dad in Essex at the Issak Walton Inn.  Their dinners have turned into haute cuisine, but it was good none the less.  More on that in the next post.  After our dinner we ran on down to West Glacier, where it started to storm a bit.  When the hail hit amongst the lightening strikes all of the cars slow to a crawl or stop.  Our bikes are pretty good rain protection, until you quit moving.  We got soaked.  When we turned south at the Blue Moon, we discovered it was worth it.  A double!

This was from three photos.  It was one of the brightest, most vivid rainbows I have seen.

This is from two photos.  You can see the double starting a bit better.
