Day 52: A Bad Day on the Highway

Someone was having a Bad Day yesterday as I drove home from Missoula.  This is about 10-15 miles west of Simms.  The car’s front end was totally engulfed in flames, the front tires were gone (it still smelled like burning tires in my car when I got back to Great Falls) and the flames seemed to be spreading into the passenger compartment.  A Sheriff’s pickup and a snowplow were slowing people down.  I haven’t heard anything about this on the news this morning.

I had a car burn like that when the kids were little. Very scary. This is a great shot.
