I needed to stretch my legs on a recent drive, so I stopped and walked up to Memorial Falls. The trailhead is in the rest area just south of Neihart, /\/\onTana! All photos were using a Canon Digital Rebel XT and Canon 28-135 Image Stabilized lens.
The babbling brook, next to the rocky trail.

The trail is only 1600 feet long to the lower falls, but it is in a deep, rocky canyon.

Finally, behind some trees, is the lower falls.

It was a pretty little falls. I did not have time to go to the upper falls. Wallpaper Sized!

It is a misty waterfall…

The trail, while rocky, does have some steps built up, with some handrails, too. And of course, your’s truely!

There were still quite a few wildflowers out.

And the final stretch back to the trailhead. A nice walk, although it is rough enough that good shoes are needed. There is “restroom” at the trailhead.
