A snowy, dreary kind of day. But I still found a couple of Eagles! This one kept flying up and down the river below Giant Springs, starting to dive for something in the river, then pulling up. I don’t know if he couldn’t decide what to eat (like standing in front of the fridge with the door open, trying to decide what might look good while it defrosts itself!) or didn’t like an audience with a camera. He got pretty close: he filled the whole frame and couple of times. I don’t know if this was one from the sunny day or not; there are several living down by the river near there. These are all handheld, freehand or braced on the car door. It was much too windy (and cold) to dig out the tripod.
