Note the sloughing off of the ground in the lower right corner. This is what caused the upper overlook to close for several months last fall, while they tried to stabilize the ground. This photo is at the lower overlook, and the slough off has advanced six feet from what you see here to the railing in the couple of days since I took this photo. The one at the upper overlook has started up again too, it looks like. Rainbow Falls is claiming more land…
