Day 94

These were probably taken in 1975 or 1976, with my then new Olympus OM-1.  For the sunset I think I used my Vivitar 35mm wideangle.  This is from our backyard in Whitefish, /\/\onTana!

For the lightning I went down to Whitefish City Beach, and using a tripod and probably my Vivitar 85-205mm zoom telephoto, I just opened the shutter on the camera and waited until the lightning flashed in front of the lens.  then I released the shutter and wound the film for another frame.

The butterfly on the canteen is one Mom, the Daily Life Oma, really liked.  I took it as one of the brochure and slide show photos for Backpacking With Barrow, the first licensed Backpack Outfitter in the State of /\/\onTana!  The green liquid is some form of Wyler’s Lemonade.

I am so jealous of that lightning shot. I have yet to capture one of those. What a great shot! Your saturated colors of that sunset are just wonderful. Beautiful composition. That bottom one is a great shot for adverstising. Very neat.

That is what I like best; right from camera with no editing. Now that is a good photograph and yours sure are.
