My first HDR (high dynamic range) photo!
(1/100, f8, 50mm, ISO 250 +/- 2 stops)
HDR photos are a composite photo of several (three in this case) photo with different exposure values. Typically there is an under exposed (-2 stops here) and over exposed (+ 2 stops here) combined with a “regular” exposure. It really adds to the dynamic values and range of a photo, surpassing what most cameras can take in one exposure. Here are the three source photos to see what I mean.
(-2 stops)……………(Regular)……………(+2 stops)
You can see the difference if you look at the middle exposure and the HDR one on top. Tomorrow I will try to find a more colorful scene to shoot.
