Way back then, six years ago, we had both daughters still in school, and actually owned a mini-van!<\/p>\n

This muddy 2000 Honda Odyssey was the third of four we owned.\u00c2\u00a0 Despite the bad rap mini-vans get, we liked all four of them, including…<\/p>\n

This 2003 Honda Odyssey we traded the white one in on!<\/p>\n

Of course, we can’t just get one car when we go down to that sweet talkin’ car dealer Kenny at Honda.\u00c2\u00a0 No, we also got this sweet little 1995 Geo tracker 4×4 hardtop for Kirsten.<\/p>\n

It lasted about a year until some idiot in a Ford F350 truck turned in front of her and Kirsten couldn’t stop in time to miss it.<\/p>\n

She did love that car, even though her input was not broadly asked for in it’s purchase…it got good mileage and it rode nice.\u00c2\u00a0 The 4×4 system, however, never seemed to work right in the snow.\u00c2\u00a0 after a great deal of research I found the problem: on 1995 Trackers they used an improper rubber bushing in the 4×4 linkage.\u00c2\u00a0 The rubber was too hard or something like that.\u00c2\u00a0 It wouldn’t let the 4×4 drive system engage when there was weight on the wheels.\u00c2\u00a0 If you put it on a lift, however, it worked fine while the wheels dangled.\u00c2\u00a0 I was about to make an appointment to fix that when the car was wrecked.<\/p>\n
