I pick the grandkids up every day from school. (I will be literally 80 years old when I get Skeeter for the last time as things are going!). They talked me into Fro-Yo down at Schulte’s.\u00a0 Just shy of $19…<\/p>\n

Then things got expensive: I filled up the truck!\u00a0 I haven’t filled it in a month, and that month included dragging our trailer out to camp over Labor Day.\u00a0 Fortunately DD#1 told me about a Circle K promotion.\u00a0 You can get $0.25 off a gallon up to five times if you have the Circle K app!\u00a0 This is the price at $0.25 off…<\/p>\n

This is the most it has ever cost me to fill up the truck.\u00a0 Of course the needle showed just under 1\/4 tank…which means a lot with a 38 gallon tank!<\/p>\n

While we all complain about the gas prices, they are only partly due to Trump’s actions against Iran, which I am all for because it is keeping us from getting nuked by them.\u00a0 That will ruin your day a lot more than high gas prices!\u00a0 Most of the high cost is the lack of refining capacity:\u00a0 Thanks A Lot Governor Newsum and “environmentalists”.\u00a0 Refineries are a long term investment, which no one will make if the next Administration will terminate it.\u00a0 And Putin: his war in the Ukraine has caused a drop in Russian diesel exports (the Ukrainians are blowing up the Russian refineries to impact the Russian army, which runs on diesel) so the demand and price for diesel is high and some refineries are emphasizing diesel over gasoline to make money.\u00a0 Adjusted for inflation, the gas prices most places are still lower than under Biden…but I am ready for them to come down anytime!<\/p>\n
