A fairly short day from St. George to Brigham City, north of Ogden. \u00a0Around 300 miles, all freeway (I15N). \u00a0Same distance as yesterday, but much less uphill and no two lane. \u00a0The last stretch is tomorrow: 517 miles or so.<\/p>\n

Early daylight.<\/p>\n

Somewhere north of Cedar City, approaching Beaver, I think. \u00a0Sunny but not too hot!<\/p>\n

All the way from St. George (Clarkdale, actually) I have followed by this little green Subaru. \u00a0I occassionally get a peak in the mirrors…<\/p>\n

We came through Salt Lake City on a Sunday hoping the traffic wouldn\u2019t be as bad as a weekday. \u00a0Probably a good choice. \u00a0Not photos: it was at least wall to wall if not bumper to bumper. \u00a0It all kept moving nicely, excepting the 90MHP+ lane splitting motorcycle, or the several very loud cars racing through all the traffic obstacles (the rest of the traffic\u2026). I do think I saw the last car pulled over later and the driver was in the ditch against the sound barrier and a cop was searching the vehicle.<\/p>\n

It was before three, so we filled up so we can get on the road early tomorrow. \u00a0Of course, the pumps decided my card \u201cover fleet velocity\u201d or something and didn\u2019t want to give me gasoline. \u00a0It worked when we checked in and at dinner, so we will see tomorrow.<\/p>\n

So a pleasant end to the day, reclining on the director\u2019s casting couch, and watching the sun set over Love\u2019s…<\/p>\n

\u2026Until a guy opened our room door using a keycard\u2026the front desk had checked him into our room! \u00a0A bit later a manager came up and said there wasn\u2019t suppose to be anyone in our room at all and asked when we had checked in. \u00a0I told her and that we had a reservation from a few days ago. \u00a0We haven\u2019t heard back.<\/p>\n
