{"id":43543,"date":"2026-02-05T18:50:40","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T01:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/?p=43543"},"modified":"2026-02-05T18:50:40","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T01:50:40","slug":"day-26035-4-feb-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/?p=43543","title":{"rendered":"Day 26035!  4 Feb 26!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finally remembered to put the new tire cover on the spare at the back of the trailer!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43544\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401-566x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"566\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401-566x600.jpg 566w, http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401-283x300.jpg 283w, http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401-768x814.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.dailylife.barrowroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Day26020401.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was trying to find a mount to go over the spare tire to hold a mast for our upcoming Starlink antenna. \u00a0There are many, many holders for Starlink or flagpoles that are an L shape with tube for the upright where the mast goes, and the bottom you just park your vehicle on, but not to mount ON the spare tire. \u00a0There are steps that go over the top of the tire, and I thought there might be something like that, but there isn\u2019t that I have found. \u00a0There are quite a few that go in a receiver hitch, and a couple that will mount to the back RV bumper (4\u201dx4\u201d). \u00a0Most of those will also mount on the ball hitch A-frame at the front, too. \u00a0I don\u2019t want a free standing mast holder because the wind will take it away like the ending of Mary Poppins. \u00a0So that 4\u201dx4\u201d one is the most likely if we decide to \u201cpermanently\u201d mount the antenna. \u00a0For now it will be sitting in a chair outside of the trailer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>~Curtis in Arizona! {!-{&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finally remembered to put the new tire cover on the spare at the back of the trailer!
