Frohe Geburtstag!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n

No numbers, please!<\/p>\n

We celebrated her birthday by going to the Sonora Desert Museum!\u00a0 “Close” parking…<\/p>\n

Free iPhone charging!<\/p>\n

We are here.\u00a0 Somewhere…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

First up was the hummingbird house.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I was a bit disappointed in this, but only because they didn’t have many birds.\u00a0 Here is an Anna’s, like we have nesting beside our trailer.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I don’t know what these next two are.\u00a0 Maybe Rufus?\u00a0 The lighting wasn’t good for photograph.\u00a0 No flash allowed!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They don’t have many birds because their’s have aged, and aren’t reproducing.\u00a0 The State won’t let them capture more right now because of the drought.\u00a0 The Museum also wants to improve and upgrade the hummingbird enclosure, and don’t want to start new birds in the old one, then have to change it all on them.<\/p>\n

This piece of garden decoration is for sale!\u00a0 It is only $12,000!<\/p>\n

The tiles are all of the birds you might see inside or in the Desert.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I think we must be there at the wrong time of the year…we saw this duck, a dove and a quail.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

More Garden Art!\u00a0 I didn’t look at the price.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, over at the Big Horned Sheep enclosure…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Things (ie: cactus) were starting to bloom…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My knees were giving out, so it was back to the coffee shop for me!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Birthday Girl arrived in a bit and went…shopping…a new Birthday hat!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I got to keep my old-new one.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A last panorama over the Museum and desert!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Out front, on the way back to the truck is a fancy cactus!\u00a0 I don’t who he is raising a finger to: seems a little rude to me!<\/p>\n

All in all a great visit and the Birthday Girl was quite happy.<\/p>\n
