<\/a><\/p>\nHeading down the hill into the Sun and the Helena Valley.<\/p>\n
At the South end of Elk Park, before heading down the hill into Butte, there were a few strange clouds.\u00a0 And it was -27 degrees?<\/p>\n Just over the hill and down a bit from the Continental Divide, the temps had warmed to a balmy -12 or so, and the mirrors fogged up from condensation…<\/p>\n The snowplows really throw the snow down here!<\/p>\n More funny clouds south of Dillon…<\/p>\n The rig with the Dailylife Wife staying warm at the Rest Area in Lima, \/\\\/\\onTana!<\/p>\n Into Idaho!\u00a0 And the only really slippery road of the day.<\/p>\n (Photo by the Dailylife Wife!)<\/p>\n Really strange clouds south of Idaho Falls…<\/p>\n Into Utah!<\/p>\n (Photo by the Dailylife Wife!)<\/p>\n We have had really good mileage today…8.2MPG GF to Rocker, and 9.3MPG Rocker to Idaho Falls!\u00a0 The last tank of the day we will fill and figure in the morning.<\/p>\n This is how: 55-60MPH and being in Fourth Gear when not running uphill.<\/p>\n After Tremonton, it started getting dark.\u00a0 And not just because the sun went down!<\/p>\n We finally made it to Layton, UT, and our Holiday Inn…at about 6pm!\u00a0 I didn’t think we could average 50MPH for the 545miles, but we did!\u00a0 There is a lot more margin if you are driving 75-80, but we stayed at 55-60.\u00a0 No really bad weather was a lot of it.\u00a0 So it was off to Outback, or “Out_ack” as their sign says.\u00a0 A long walk across the parking lot…<\/p>\n Baked Potato soup…it is really good here!<\/p>\n While I like the soup too, I decided on a Blooming Onion Burger…just to have a small taste of the Blooming Onion…it is so good and so hard on the digestion!!!<\/p>\n (Photo by the Dailylife Wife!)<\/p>\n A vertical panorama!<\/p>\n Outside it was kind of winter wonderland?\u00a0 A pretty, snowy tree by the Utility Box!<\/p>\n And way down yonder across the parking lot is our rig!<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
