<\/a><\/p>\nThen we went down to Lydgate State Park and parked by the beach to eat the last of the stuff from our refrigerator.\u00a0 It was nice.<\/p>\n
A windsurfer.<\/p>\n Birds!<\/p>\n And not to forget:<\/p>\n We spent a couple of hours there in a light rain, then we headed into Lihue to find a nice restaurant for dinner.\u00a0 We tried several, but between it being Sunday and the Island still recovering from the ‘Rona lockdowns, and lot of places just were open, or even there anymore!<\/p>\n So, in what I hope is the last mention of them for a long, long time…we hit up this place for dinner.\u00a0 And no, we didn’t get 10% off for bringing in our own dinner to be cooked…it would have been nice, but…<\/p>\n Then it was off to the airport!\u00a0 The car got turned in a lot quicker than we checked it out, and we wandered over to the departure terminal, only to find Alaska Air was not opening until 7:30…it was 6pm.\u00a0 We couldn’t even go through the agricultural scan until Alaska opened…<\/p>\n Finally Alaska opened, and I got our bags checked for agricultural stuff, then into the Alaska line.\u00a0 The self-kiosks were not working correctly, so we ended up having to go to the counter anyway.\u00a0 Then they don’t take your bags there, you have to drag them down to TSA and leave them there while you go through the scanner.\u00a0 Then there was ANOTHER agricultural scanner before we got to the gate…<\/p>\n But we left on time, and our boarding passes got us on in the second wave, so we didn’t have to fight the crowded aisle!<\/p>\n Looking back:<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a> <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
