Oh, and the wildlife, too!\u00a0 In the Unit.\u00a0 Well, it is the first one we have seen in Hawai’i, so I guess we are lucky!\u00a0 The man with the Raid can said they get into rental cars (and ruined a lot of them over the pandemic while they weren’t being used) and then hitch a ride in on your luggage.\u00a0 Not too many come inside.<\/p>\n

So after an otherwise peaceful day we drove down the hill to see some birds.\u00a0 Once you get through the hairpins on the way to Hanalei, and then cross the one lane bridge (if you’ve been here you understand) you can turn left and find…<\/p>\n

The Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge!<\/a>\u00a0 Perhaps the smallest refuge I have ever seen.\u00a0 They share the fields with traditional Taro farmers.<\/p>\n
