Making the basic frame for around the hot water heater.<\/p>\n

Fitting the piece of veneer that is the removable front access panel to the hot water heater and associated wring and hoses.\u00c2\u00a0 This is where the magnets would have been…<\/p>\n

Here is the frame installed, with the “back” of the storage compartment reinstalled.\u00c2\u00a0 It is the same veneer that came out of there.\u00c2\u00a0 I have made it removable with four screws.\u00c2\u00a0 That is where the Dailylife Wife will have legroom to do her sewing while we snowbird.\u00c2\u00a0 The front of the hot water heater compartment lifts out.<\/p>\n

This is from outside the storage compartment looking in.\u00c2\u00a0 It needs another piece of veneer across the top.\u00c2\u00a0 I did not have a wide enough piece to make it just one.\u00c2\u00a0 Still $0.00!\u00c2\u00a0 Even the 2x2s and screws are recycled from the bunkbed supports.\u00c2\u00a0 A few screws and boards I already had on hand.\u00c2\u00a0 But as of now about 98% trailer sourced.<\/p>\n

The top of the 2×2 should be at the height of the bottom of the countertop we will install.\u00c2\u00a0 With a little side piece above on the right, the storage will be effectively shut off from the inside of the trailer, yet I can remove the back wall when we are stopped for a time and need legroom under the counter.\u00c2\u00a0 Because it is for outside water hoses and electrical cords, most of the contents will be in use when the wall is removed.<\/p>\n

I may have to trim the top of this storage wall; I pulled a lot of staples out of it and you can see the holes.<\/p>\n
