And as a reward for our hard work, I made a pineapple upside-down cake! \u00c2\u00a0In a crockpot! \u00c2\u00a0Really! \u00c2\u00a0It is an easy recipe at\u00c2\u00a0www.bettycrocker.com<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0The reason this one looks a bit…funny…is that the Dailylife GreatGramma only has a crockpot for two. \u00c2\u00a0It is round and about 5? inches across, so half the regular size or less. \u00c2\u00a0It only fit a few pineapple rings on the bottom so I added another layer in the batter, and I used the full amount of brown sugar so it was SWEET. \u00c2\u00a0It also had a bit of a drop from the crockpot to the plate, and didn’t hold together the best. \u00c2\u00a0It still tasted good!<\/p>\n

Why I got the urge to make pineapple upside-down cake? \u00c2\u00a0I have no idea…I didn’t even like it as a kid. \u00c2\u00a0This was pretty good, too! \u00c2\u00a0The\u00c2\u00a0Dailylife Canadian Quilter Sister helped me with some support for the new recipe, and then she made muffins with the left over batter. \u00c2\u00a0They were pretty darn good also.<\/p>\n
