A blast from the past: these are from from a vacation we took in 2003. \u00c2\u00a0This was April something or other, in Las Vegas: \u00c2\u00a0it is the entrance to the Luxor (in a two photo panorama), where we stayed. \u00c2\u00a0It is the big glass pyramid. \u00c2\u00a0That beam of light can be seen in Los Angeles on a clear night.<\/p>\n

Looking down from the elevator. \u00c2\u00a0This was a neat experience: the rooms make up the outside, slanted wall of the Luxor. \u00c2\u00a0The middle is open. \u00c2\u00a0The elevators run along the inside slant of the pyramid.<\/p>\n

We took a short walk down the Strip. \u00c2\u00a0Actually, there are no “short” walks…you walk everywhere there!<\/p>\n

This is the famous Siegfried and Roy Lion enclosure!<\/p>\n

Or it was, anyway.<\/p>\n

I don’t know if this was one of the lions that tried to eat Roy or not. \u00c2\u00a0That was a couple of years in the future as I recall.<\/p>\n

Dailylife Daughter #1 in front of the window the next morning. \u00c2\u00a0DD#2 snuck into the corner. \u00c2\u00a0You can see the slanted wall.<\/p>\n

The view of Excalibur and the top of New York, New York from our room. \u00c2\u00a0I quite enjoyed our stay there!<\/p>\n
