More scenery!<\/p>\n Here we are at dinner, with the Dailylife Wife checking out her photos.<\/p>\n A REALLY artsy phot of the ocean: I turned the fisheye effect on!<\/p>\n After dinner we went up on the Sports Deck (Deck 9) to stroll around a bit. \u00c2\u00a0The funny looking structure to the left is interesting.<\/p>\n It is a retractable roof over the Lido Deck pool.<\/p>\n It doesn’t get opened too often on the Alaska run, I think, but the humidity can really build up near the pool. \u00c2\u00a0They will crack it open to let it out.<\/p>\n We are about to pass the Amsterdam’s sister ship, the Holland America Line’s Zaandam.<\/p>\n If you look at the middle top of the Zaandam you can see it also has a retractable roof over her Lido Deck pool.<\/p>\n Here it is (closed) in a closer view.<\/p>\n While they were headed south, we steamed in circles near most of the night with three other cruise liners. \u00c2\u00a0They apparently don’t let ships dock at night in Juneau.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n\u00c2\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
