<\/a><\/p>\nThis is a totally manual lens, so I even have to focus it, just like we used to do! \u00c2\u00a0Here it is on my Canon M2, without the lens hood. \u00c2\u00a0On my crop sensor M2, this 12mm is like a 19.2mm lens on a 35mm film camera: pretty wide! \u00c2\u00a0And f2 is really fast, too!<\/p>\n
I took several photos with it while I was looking it over. \u00c2\u00a0Effectively at f8 pretty much everything from five feet to infinity seems to be in focus, so this looks to be just as fun as everyone in the reviews said it would be!<\/p>\n A nice close view of may MacBook Pro.<\/p>\n Since I mainly wanted this lens to photograph the stars at night, I wandered into the backyard about 10pm. \u00c2\u00a0It was mostly clear. \u00c2\u00a0This first photo is at f2 and 10 seconds.<\/p>\n Here is a full sized crop of the stars and part of a power line above. \u00c2\u00a0I had to adjust the focus just a little bit after this photo. \u00c2\u00a0Click on it to enlarge it; BACK to return!<\/p>\n This is again f2, but at 8 seconds. \u00c2\u00a0The stars are nice and sharp points of light. \u00c2\u00a0I have done nothing to these photos other than resizing and making the 100% crop details.<\/p>\n 100% crop.<\/p>\n And f2 and 6 seconds.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
