Returning to the Station, we waited for the train.<\/p>\n

We backed through the Wye on the Virginia City end of the line. \u00c2\u00a0You can see the tail end of the Wye on the left near the log cabin.<\/p>\n

The Central City station. \u00c2\u00a0It was town to the north of Nevada City. \u00c2\u00a0All the remains is the relocated building.<\/p>\n

A little further on. \u00c2\u00a0I think this is from when they used full-sized trains.<\/p>\n

It is a bit sad returning to Nevada City. \u00c2\u00a0The last time I was here (admittedly 28 years ago or so…) you could wander through these railroad cars. \u00c2\u00a0Now they have to be permanently closed off with barbed wire.<\/p>\n
