Here are Toots and I leaving our Cabin to head to the museum in Nevada City.<\/p>\n

We got the museum and train ride for $14 each!<\/p>\n

Toots investigated an early motion picture machine: it is a series of prints on index cards. \u00c2\u00a0After you drop in a coin you crank it to make them flip and see the image move! \u00c2\u00a0I wonder what risqu\u00c3\u00a9 story is being told…some of them even let you see a lady’s ankle and knee!<\/p>\n

This part of the museum is full of coin operated music machines: player pianos, organs, Wurlitzers; the guy that preserved Nevada City collected machines from all over the west!<\/p>\n

Many of them are in need of maintenance…of course, they are well over 100 years old and have been in constant use for many of those years.<\/p>\n

Then it is outside to the rest of the Nevada City!<\/p>\n
