On the last day of the year I went out early to catch the sunrise. \u00c2\u00a0I got the Moon first!<\/p>\n

This is with my 75-300L lens, at 300mm.<\/p>\n

And this is that same lens at 300mm with a 2x\u00c2\u00a0teleconverter, making it a 600mm. \u00c2\u00a0This one is resized to fit my 1440×960 format I mostly use here.<\/p>\n

The Highroads were glowing.<\/p>\n

The waterfowl were on the River in the mist.<\/p>\n

I made a Red Cross blood run to Missoula! \u00c2\u00a0It was a tad snowy…<\/p>\n

We always try to eat at Famous Dave’s when we are in Missoula. \u00c2\u00a0We don’t have one here. \u00c2\u00a0Mmmm, mmmm! \u00c2\u00a0Baby back Ribs!<\/p>\n

Once we cleared Rogers Pass on the way back, we saw a green glow in the north. \u00c2\u00a0Yup! \u00c2\u00a0The Northern Lights on New Year’s Eve!<\/p>\n
