Here is our first glimpse of Mendenhall Glacier.<\/p>\n

Juneau is a lush place…<\/p>\n

Off to the right about a mile is a BIG waterfall. \u00c2\u00a0Those little spots?<\/p>\n

There are spotting scopes to view the glacier through in the Visitor’s Center.<\/p>\n

A nice view of the glacier in the Sun.<\/p>\n

And a few moments later, not so much Sun. \u00c2\u00a0As I recall from stopping in Juneau on our 2009 Cruise, this is the only glacier in the US of A that can be seen from a Walmart parking lot…<\/p>\n

Alas, the only real downside to these Cruise tours (other than the cost!!!) is that you are on a schedule and can’ spend all the time you’d like in some places. \u00c2\u00a0It is back to Juneau!<\/p>\n
