One of the big problems in Hawai’i, besides the pigs, chickens, mongooses, rats, and so on, is goats.<\/p>\n
See him? \u00c2\u00a0Right there!<\/p>\n And the water is always breaking along the shore…<\/p>\n There was a trail maintenance party working up the hillside. They are all volunteer and there are no roads on this side of the island. \u00c2\u00a0They got a big “Mahalo” from everyone on the boat.<\/p>\n That supremely rugged shoreline again…<\/p>\n On of the many, many waterfalls. \u00c2\u00a0I would love to see the Na Pali Coast when it had been raining. \u00c2\u00a0It looks like it might be one big waterfall!<\/p>\n Looking back the way we came. \u00c2\u00a0We turned around at this point, so it is the way we were gong, too.<\/p>\n Then it was suppertime! \u00c2\u00a0They put the boat under sail for a little while, but the winds we wrong for sailing back. \u00c2\u00a0They also served dinner! \u00c2\u00a0Cooked right on the Southern Star. \u00c2\u00a0Big steaks and big shrimp! \u00c2\u00a0With grilled Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes (the purple stuff), grill sliced potatoes, carrots, asparagus, salad, and booze!<\/p>\n (PL-2)<\/p>\n This is the inside lounge of the Southern Star, next to the bar.
