We made it out to the lighthouse to see what was happening.<\/p>\n

This is the northern most point of the (inhabited) Hawaiian Island Chain.<\/p>\n

As you can see, it was windy and the sea was rough.<\/p>\n

There were some birds flying around, but not too many, nor did they come close. \u00c2\u00a0It is at the end of one specie’s season here, and just the beginning of another’s. \u00c2\u00a0They fly in from the mainland!<\/p>\n

Unknown.\u00c2\u00a0<\/del>\u00c2\u00a0Dailylife Daughter #2’s roommate, a birder of some intensity, decided to identify these two unknowns. \u00c2\u00a0I sent hera few more photos and she has determined that they are both Brown-footed Boobies. \u00c2\u00a0I can not argue with her.<\/p>\n
