We started our first full day on Kauai at a gathering of guests to offer activities for the week: snorkeling, sightseeing flights, dinner cruises, and so on. It was, as so many places are in Hawai’i, an open air pavilion.<\/p>\n

Of course, it being an open air pavilion, there are…chickens.<\/p>\n

Then it is down to the\u00c2\u00a0Kilauea Lighthouse and National Wildlife Refuge<\/a> that we saw earlier from the Pride of America<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0(The second lighthouse down, near the bottom of the page…)<\/p>\n

As I mentioned before, all of those white spots are roosting birds…<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0…but also the occasional Red Footed Booby!<\/p>\n

Then it was down to the beach and a few self portraits!<\/p>\n
