is the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halemaumau_Crater#2008-Present_eruption_episodes\" target=\"_blank\">Halema&#8217;uma&#8217;i Crater<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0Part of the Kilauea Caldera, it has been actively venting since March of 2008. \u00c2\u00a0This time. \u00c2\u00a0It has been active a quite a few times in the recent past!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a target=\"_blank\">Kilauea Iki Crater<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0It erupted for 17 days back in November, 1959. \u00c2\u00a0You can actually hike across this one, and there are vents to show it is still pretty hot under there! \u00c2\u00a0If you look at the enlarged image, you can see a &#8220;bathtub ring&#8221; around the crater. \u00c2\u00a0That is how high the lava lake got, and it has subsided since
