We decided to relax for the afternoon before the Boat departed, by sitting on our balcony and watching the ocean. \u00c2\u00a0It wasn’t long before we sighted…<\/p>\n

Yup! \u00c2\u00a0Whales. \u00c2\u00a0Right off our pier! \u00c2\u00a0Of course, being on the 9th floor\/deck helped…<\/p>\n

Note there are two whales. \u00c2\u00a0It is near the end of the breeding season, and one of these is a baby!<\/p>\n

She is waving at us!<\/p>\n

This is the baby’s nose poking up.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

These are Humpbacked Whales.<\/p>\n

This is a Blue Whal…hey, where did this guy come from???<\/p>\n

Mother Whale is blowing before she dives.<\/p>\n

Not only are there the two whales in the foreground, but one is just starting to blow further back. \u00c2\u00a0Most of the time you just see a lighter cloud than the photo above.<\/p>\n
